Website and hosting
This website is hosted on a server at Hetzner Online GmbH and managed using self-hosted Coolify. Technical connection data, including IP address, request time, requested address, browser information and transfer status, are processed to deliver and secure the website and diagnose errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Technical logs are retained only as required for operations, security or investigating a specific incident. The website itself uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Images are served locally and fonts use your system.
Booking and payments
On pages with an embedded booking form, the Smoobu booking tool loads automatically when the page opens. Your browser connects to Smoobu GmbH and transmits technical connection data, including your IP address and browser information, to provide availability and booking functions under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. When you use the form and enter information, Smoobu processes booking details such as travel dates, guest count, name, contact details, address and messages for pre-contractual steps and your booking under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Payments are handled through Stripe; available methods and payment timing are displayed before completion. Necessary legal retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Depending on the service or payment method, other recipients and transfers outside the EU or EEA may be involved. Contact and best price requests
We process the information you send by email or provide by telephone to answer your enquiry. Best price requests may include dates, guest count, an offer link and a screenshot. Please do not send account credentials or unnecessary third-party data. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to booking enquiries; Article 6(1)(f) applies to other correspondence. This website has no contact form; email and telephone links open your own application.
Retention, recipients and your rights
Enquiry and booking data are retained as necessary to answer enquiries, manage stays, issue invoices and meet legal obligations. Documents subject to mandatory retention are deleted after the applicable period unless another lawful reason applies. Data are shared only with necessary service providers or as required by law, not for advertising. External links connect to their provider only when opened. Subject to legal requirements, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, object on grounds relating to your particular situation, or withdraw consent for future processing.
